that accomplishes for others: sincerely acting for the benefit of
others.
Patience
- Patience
in the face of enemies: ability to bear with indifference any injury
by others and abandoning anger and hatred.

in the face of suffering: ability to bear difficult circumstances
and abandoning whining.
- Patience
in the face of the truth: ability to hold certainty on that we can
not yet comprehend and abandoning doubt.
Diligence
- The
diligence of resolution: never taking an indifferent attitude, nothing
too insignificant to perform, nothing beyond our capabilities.
- The
diligence of application: persevering in all circumstances, to completion,
no slacking off.
- The
diligence of refusing to turn back: never being satisfied with what
can be further improved.
Concentration
- The
concentration of strict control: mental calm, impartial observation,
physical peace and flawless tranquility.
- The
concentration of positive qualities:maintaining activity while maintaining
tranquility.
- The
concentration of benefit: benefiting beings by these methods.
Insight
- The
insight of understanding absolute nature: the true nature of phenomenal
experience.
- The
insight of relative nature: cause and effect, dependent origination,
cause and condition.
- The
insight of knowing what will benefit others: generosity, kind words,
helpfulness, and impartiality.

Precious
Human Birth
The
freedoms and endowments of this precious human birth are extremely
difficult to find, therefore, most certainly precious. Recognize the
good fortune of this human existence.
Impermanence
All
sentient existence is conditioned by impermanence and death. Recognize
the nature of change inherent in all phenomena.
Cause
and Effect
The
cause and effect of positive and negative actions is absolutely certain.
Recognize that cause and effect is actually produced by mental habit.
Existence
of Suffering
The
result of cause and effect is a cycle of suffering.Recognize that
negative actions will lead to negative results and positive actions
will lead to positive results.
